Details	:	Itinerary: 09:10 am - Gather at Tuen Mun MTR Station 09:35 am –Depart from gathering point to Power Station 10:00 am –Gallery and Turbine Hall Viewing Platform - Black Point Power Station 11:30 am –Coach from Black Point Power Station to Castle Peak Power Station 11:45 am –Bus Tour at Castle Peak Power Station 12:30 pm –Coach from Castle Peak Power Station to Tuen Mun MTR Station and dismiss (The scheduled time may change so as to suit the actual conditions on the date of the visit.) About Castle Peak Power Station and Black Point Power Station The Castle Peak Power Station is situated in Tap Shek Kok, Tuen Mun District. The station consists of four 350 MW coal-fired units and four 677 MW units. Two of the 677MW units can use gas as a backup fuel. All units can use oil as a backup fuel. It was commissioned in 1980. It is one of the three power stations that CLP operates in Hong Kong totalling to 7,533 MW of gross capacity. Black Point Power Station is a gas fired combined-cycle power station in Hong Kong, near to Castle Peak Power Station. Built in 1996, the station provides 3,125 MW of power comprising five 312.5MW units and three 337.5MW units, with another new 550MW unit under construction and expected to commence operation before 2020.
Remarks	:	FULL (NO WALK IN AVAILABLE) Closing Date: 16 March 2019 Online registration is NOT accepted for this CPD event. First-come-first-served with duly completed Declaration Form, Standard Reservation Form and payment. All participating members shall arrange their own transport to Tuen Mun MTR Station. Please equip with your own non-slip shoes and wear long trousers, if necessary. While HKIS will arrange for insurance policy for the participants, members may consider taking out their own insurance policy to cover their own risks. Latecomers will NOT be picked up and will NOT be allowed to join the visit.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
